Hiring North East Spa Staff: A Fair and Practical Guide for Owners
Many spas across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Goa and Gujarat hire from the North East. Doing it well is mostly about relocation logistics and clear written terms.
Before the offer
Put the full package in writing: fixed salary, incentive basis, duty hours, weekly off, accommodation details and food arrangement. Confirm the joining date and who pays for travel.
Onboarding in the first month
Arrange accommodation before arrival, help with a local SIM and bank account, and pay the first salary on the stated date. Most early exits happen when one of these three is missed.
Non-negotiables
Original documents stay with the candidate. No fee may be charged to a candidate. Discriminatory treatment and any request for services outside a lawful spa or salon menu are prohibited on SpaWell and can be reported at any time.
